The Teaser Provides Cost-Effective High-Impact Advertising Option

New York, NY, 7/31/2007 - DoubleClick Inc., the premier provider of digital marketing technology and services, today announced a new advertising format: the Teaser. The new format allows developers to create high-impact teaser ads with short flashes of video, thereby helping to increase the range of options available to advertisers. Universal Pictures is the first to use the ad format, in connection with advertising for the debut of its action-thriller, The Bourne Ultimatum, starring Matt Damon, which will hit screens nationwide in early August.

VH1's Concert for Diana Streamed Live into an Ad

For the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana's death, VH1 marked the occasion by simultaneously broadcasting and streaming live and online the entire six-hour Concert for Diana. Normally, online broadcasts are challenging to drive traffic to due to the time-sensitive nature of the promotional window. VH1 overcame the promotional challenge with a broad reaching ad campaign. Using the DoubleClick Rich Media and Video live streaming feature, VH1 captured audiences throughout the broadcast, drawing them in with the actual content of the broadcast. For detailed information about the concert and the media buy, read more at Multichannel News.
